"Gianluca is an author able to evoke the suggestions of contemporaneity acting as a participant-receptor of them. What counts for him is not so much the medium as the ability to contaminate languages, to highlight their affinities. After starting out exclusively as a painter ... his interest has been directed primarily towards the field of new technologies, video, digital photography and graphics, although painting has remained constant among his interests, both in the elaboration of autonomous images and in the highly effective transposition of frames from videos. Another aim pursued by Rosso with continuity and passion has been the comparison and collaboration with musicians”. (Edoardo Di Mauro)
